Returning To An Interesting Conundrum...

Whenever I take a break from blogging, I always expect my visitor numbers to drop, so I occasionally check the analytics, more out of curiosity than anything else.

The past couple of weeks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find things have been ticking over nicely.

I was away visiting my sister the previous weekend – a long overdue visit, which was tremendous fun – and hadn’t checked the numbers for about 4 days.

Back home and back to the usual routine, I took a moment to check my blog stats last Tuesday.

And was thoroughly gobsmacked!

On the 13th of March, the blog had the most visits ever in a single day – 575!

Just over 400 were from the US.

And the post with the most visits – 497 – was ‘The American Indian Horse – Medicine Hat and War Paint’.

I’m thrilled that a post I wrote in 2014 is still proving so popular.

While I know this is of interest to no one but me, I really, really want to know why there were so many visits to that particular post on the one day; inquiring minds need to know!

If anyone has any ideas, please do share in the comments section.
